Repro of the Milky Way Core

I did a pano of the Milky Way a few weeks ago and I thought I'd restitch the core area and do a repro with a new processing work flow I have worked out for my wide fields.

What do you think?

All I did was reduce the unwanted colours by desaturating them (green cast, magenta CA from the lens ect) while careful stretching was applied. No colours or saturation were added, a little noise reduction was applied.

14 image pano, 200 seconds each at ISO 1600, Canon 1100D with an 85mm lens.

Astrobin.

Astrobin large.

Astrobin really large.

I have included a link to the original 16-bit tiff, please feel free to download it and have a go at processing. And please post your version, I would like to see what you come up with. CLICK HERE for dropbox link. (94mb)

Cheers
Jo
