Well, Ulrich, as disappointing as that is, I have gone to IISAC one year, and got sick and spent the whole time from Thursday morning until Saturday sick in my tent until I decided to pack up and go home. You made the right choice!

Thanks Mike. I couldn't detect any cast induced by the adjustable ND filters (actually 2 polarising filters built into the one filter). So I think they are keepers!
Much cheaper and more convenient than buying a set of ND filters to try to achieve the same range.
