Thankyou Stephen, I just looked back to the shooting exifs and learned that exposures was 3 mins apart, seems to work with spacings nicely, tho I wasnt sure at the time if the moon would clearly move enough in that time or cause overlapping. Some how my memory said 3 mins for some reason, i dont know why, Lol, and gut feeling felt good aswell, so went with it

Cheers Matt, yeah, I oridginally only layered the last five higher brighter ones, but looked incomplete, so, all do give that materialising aspect, glad I didn't scrap them

Thanx Paul, & yeah, Oct 8th has Totality starting a couple to 3 hrs after sundown for the Eastern half of Aus, If memory serves, Total starts approx 20 odd deg alt for you and over an hour after Sunset, so much more favourable.
