14" Skywatcher Tracking Dob Go To with Synscan

My increasing age and decreasing ability cause this sale.

My quite immaculate 9 month old 14" Skywatcher computerised Black Diamond Flex Tube, with full SynScan and Go To is on the market. Full specifications are available here: http://skywatcher.com/product.php?cat=6&id=67

The telescope comes with:
  • Home made extended dew shroud
  • Home made secondary heater
  • Illuminated eyepiece
  • Red dot finder (original equipment finderscope is included)
  • Sky Fi. Operates using the excellent Sky Safari Pro on WiFi enabled tablet, iPhone or laptop; see here: https://southernstars.com/products/skyfi/index.html
  • Collimated laser collimator
  • Orion Collimating eyepiece (USA manufacture)
  • Standard 1.25", 10mm and 25mm eyepieces
  • Large waterproof 'tarp' cover
  • All edges and holes in the mount sealed to prevent moisture ingress
This is a quite complete and highly capable piece of equipment. The optics are excellent, with my 2", 30mm Pentax XW showing pinpoint stars to the very edge of field of view with the scope correctly collimated.

Current new price of the telescope alone is $3,499.00, visit http://www.andrewscom.com.au/site-section-10.htm

Selling for $2,850.00, inspection is invited. PM replies, please.
