Actually I started out on planetary Dave. I think January first last year ??? was my first Saturn posting. Then I think the clouds moved in in March, or was that when I bought my Canon 300D
. I'd love to be able to do more unfortunately I only have a window of about 50 deg up from the east to the zenith (but fully north to south so I don't miss much, I just have to wait for ti to get to me.). So at least when I do get to have a go at them then I've got the best window. And in the mean time when they are low I can focus (pun intended) on DSOs
I'd love a Dob. If you're offering the new 16" truss when it comes out I'll take it thanks
I'm after something with serious aperture that I can just wheel out in the middle of the week for viewing and concentrate on imaging on the weekends.
