Ever tried to remove a generator from a Mini ? , worst job in the world ! , its easier to remove the whole engine first ( it has to be dropped out the bottom of the body by lifting the whole car above it , not a fun job ) .
Great fun cars to drive ,, but horrible to work on ( yes I have done that cursed by-pass hose as well ,GRRRR! ) , go the Mazda MX5 route .
