Mike, I'd be asking the ISP if they have changed the outgoing (SMTP) server or if they have changed the security settings.
If you want to try some debugging yourself install Wireshark and capture the traffic.
Dennis, it is fairly common for the incoming (IMAP or POP) server to be different to the outgoing (SMTP) server.
