Not sure what you want here.
SkySafari for Mac is a planetarium program - shows you the sky (gloriously) and can do stuff like scope control. You can also put up a reticle on screen to show you the apparent field of view.
Astroplanner for Mac is an awesome planning tool. Gives you Finder charts for a given object; shows you the field of view of your eyepieces, lets you fiddle with focal reducers and scope sizes to see what will work for you. Yu can get UCAC4 catalogues for AP which is more stars than you or I will ever need; you can download Palomar Obs Sky Survey images of a given area to see even more stars and odd things.
I have both, and use both All The Time. Really indispensable in my opinion.
