Paula , I have one that I use in my 2 refractors and it gives the best white light views of the sun ever ! , just awesome but a 'Polarising' filter is mandatory screwed into the eyepiece as the image is a little to bright without one and its good to be able to tone it down for surface detail and brighten it up for sun spots , by turning the eyepiece ( with filter screwed into ) one way or the other in the wedge .
These are very good .

Very well made bit of gear as well .

Just a word of caution for others , these can ONLY ! be used on refractors .
