Yeah, I'm still fairly new at this so I think I need the background to be brighter as I tend to get lost with it quite easily. I bought it when I had my 6" and I think it was mental who told me that it may not perform too well in the small aperture so I held onto it. Still very dark in my 12". They do get good reviews though.
