I stuck with IBM OS2 till it could not or would not keep up with hardware advances. It had a better windows than windows. It had 128 character file names (windows had eight). It took windows a lot of years to catch up to what I already had. I finally gave up when XP came out! I have almost got as good an operating system as I used to have.
I never even contemplated an Apple. It did not run my applications at all!
