Yes, and I have one and use it for lunar and planetary imaging as well as as a guidecam, I have even pointed it at a DSO or two for fun.

I have used it with an ETX90 and my current 8" Vixen reflector with the Autostarsuite software and with Envisage. I have used it to guide the ETX via ASS and the Vixen via GuideDog and GuideMaster (ASCOM drivers).

Basically it works well for all those tasks - but it is limited as a guidecam due to software limitations with long exposures (except with the Meade s'ware). Best advice is to set it up in daylight first, get focus, swap in an ep and fit the parfocal ring.

One thing to bear in mind if wanting to use it to look at small objects - it is equivalent t oa 6mm ep - your field of view is small so take care to ensure your object is well centred and tracking well before you fir the LPI...
