I have an early Coulter 10 inch dob. I may be moving to a unit where it will be a bit too big. Alternatives are
- keep it and pretend its a bar fridge when not in use
- sell it
- trade it
- cut it up, keep the optics & make an ultra-portable
In addition to space I'm running out of time so option c may not be realistic, despite its feasibility. So if anyone is interested I'm open to suggestions. Clearly storage costs quickly exceed the value of telescopes given Chinese models so I'll be open to suggestions. It is in the Hunter Valley at present. Not in great condition but it gives great views and would be sorely missed.
