that's really nice work Jack.

If you want to go for longer exposures or use longer lenses with the DSLR, get a polarie or similar tracking mount (or maybe even consider making a barn door tracker http://www.clarkvision.com/articles/...racking.mount/). Be aware though that you are standing on the edge of very slippery slope - astro imaging is very addictive and the more advanced imaging systems used by some who post on IIS can set you back in "new car" size wads of cash
