I'm having trouble with my new 8.1 on Asus laptop.
Some things are just soooo slow even though it's got 16GB RAM.
Partly no doubt because i've gone back to a 5400rpm HDD instead of the SSD, so i'm looking to get a 480GB SSD soon.
But i'm not sure whether to clone from the HDD to SSD, or literally re-install - and maybe even reinstall Win7.
Just opening folders in Explorer, even Word/Excel, everything is slower than Win7.
