Rediscovering the joys of photography

As a dedicated SLR/DSLR user, I recently decided to move into the mirrorless compact world and bought a second hand Fuji XE-1 (with helpful info from Greg Bradley and Zane aka Astroboy ).
I took the camera and its 18-55 "kit" lens (f2.8-4 is not your average kit lens) for a few test photos. I was pleasantly surprised at how well the camera balanced the light and how sharp the lens is. I did a lot of read up of the camera and the lens and every photo I took just confirmed them. The controls were well laid out and logical to understand.
Here are some sample of photos taken in bright daylight, inside Royal Arcade in Melbourne and poorly lit laneway in Melbourne.
This camera is a keeper.
Plus, it has really low ISO noise (something I will try later when the skies clear up a bit).
Cheers,
Bo
