Hi all,
I'd be prepared to host another session this Friday night, Feb 28, in time for the weekend new Moon. If you are interested please let me know here or via PM.
Again, I'll be going over a lot of material, so I don't mind if you take notes. The forecast for Friday night isn't great at this time, but still bring your scope so we can give it a good shake down. Things I can go over include collimation, how our eyes work and observing tips, brief run down on setting up an eq mount (I have only some experience with these, but I can get you up and running), eyepieces 1.25" and 2" what's the diff and what's works and what doesn't, and exit pupil - what it is and how to use it, filters, getting good mechanical performance out of one's mount.
And as last time, bring some bikkies to munch on.
Mental.
