The flame area is better in the second while the red area above and to the left of the flame looks better in the first as the wisps of blue gas appear better defined while in the second is an uninteresting red blob. They just seem to have a bit more depth and interest.
Great shot anyhow and better than anything I've done.

Hmmm perhaps some masking in of the various areas needs to be done. I can see where you are coming from here. Thanks for taking the time to comment.
