This discussion is getting a bit away from the original thread and moved to a discussion of IQ.
I earlier posted a rather facetious comment about the lack of knowledge that the earth revolves around the sun. Of the remaining 75% who do know, how many only know this because they remember what they were taught in school.
I would say that 99% of them have just accepted what they were told even when they looked up at a moving sky and saw it moving rather than themselves and wondered!
Put yourself in their place. Would you have known which was which without being told of knowledge that took thousands of years and many executions to be accepted by the world leaders and their subjects?
