Unfortunately I personally don't have an old film can... I once asked around here (in camera shops), but nobody had one. Back then I had found some on eBay, but they were not cheap (because of postage).
But maybe the OP has got one.
I checked the nosepiece of my camera and it should fit the adapter.
Anyway, those adapters are not so expensive, so I am giving them a thought...
