I got one and don't have any issues with it, it's what I use to control my dslr for all my AP and time lapses. As mentioned over longer exposures the timer can be out a few seconds, doesn't worry me. Full batteries with last you six months or so if getting a lot of use.
For the price I'd say it does a great job.
