I had this piggy-back mount made for me quite a few years ago, and it has always performed flawlessly.

It is suitable for a classic meade ota (I used it on my 10" lx200) and a manfrotto quick release bracket.

It goes on the scope in place of the finderscope, and is very easy to install, even in the dark or when it is cold and you can't feel your fingers.
