Nice job, does look like a Mollusc of some type.

Must have been windy, provided of course it isn't pointed directly toward the prevailing wind, my Sirius dome is pretty good at keeping the wind at bay even in very fresh winds ...I can't imagine going back to no dome now..in fact... I'd cry

Mike
Thanks Mike!

Yep very sluggish!
Boy this is ripe for Dad jokes, in my case Granpa jokes.

Yep, love my dome even though it's old and rusty. It certainly allows far more imaging to be done.

Thanks David!

Amazing what shapes we see, it's almost like a Rorschach inkblot test.

I found it in Carte Du Ciel with RA and DEC from your reply in the post of sjastro : CG1 (aka Be 135). Cometary Globule in Puppis. (ra: 07:19.21 / dec - 44:36). And it is near the region I am working, LMC, and in good position to capture.
Near... not so much, but at the same side, a bit above.

And about the winds... I know exactly, perfectly, absolutely what you told.

Thank you, very much . I will follow you and try capture it, too.
Thanks Jorge!

Steven ( sjastro ) is the first on IIS as far as I know, love these unusual nebulae.

This would be a good target for your 12"

As you know a country site sure helps, but I am squeezing out a lot more than I used to when processing.

Cheers,
