Thanks for the info guys! I will be with the wife and several other friends (total 6 people). We are renting a Tarago and driving around. I should be at Lauceston on the 17th of April from memory. Troble is all the people I am travelling with are not really into astronomy (well save one at least but she only has a passing interest) so maybe the binocs might be the go....
