When you reply scroll down the page to manage attachments, click that and out pops the bit you need. Click on choose file and get the photo from wherever it is on your computer. Choose the one you want and click choose and then upload….wait a bit and it should appear in the manage attachments spot, then do a preview just to make sure and bobs your uncle!
Not exactly a technical version of how to do it but hope it works.
