I have in desperation combined my images of m42 (approx. 2 hrs 50 min) shot with my Atik 383L+ color camera, through my Skywatcher ED 80 Pro using at flattener. Desperation because the weather has been grey since the start of december, and there is nothing indicating any improvement in the weather.
About the image: the core near the trapezium is off, colorwise. Actually, the whole image is probably off, colorwise, come to think of it...
I will try to improve it...
Or start with another, less frustrating hobby
