Aqueduct of Segovia, Spain.

Roman Aqueuct of Segovia in Spain, built approx 81-96 AD.

The aqueduct is built of unmortared brick at its tallest it reaches a height of 28.5m, including nearly 6m of foundation.

1. After needing to explain myself to a machine-gun totting soldier who snuck up behind me wanting to know why I was standing so close to their army barrack gates, I explained I noticed this reflection on one of those street mirrors that lets you see around corners and he reluctantly said OK. Talk about paranoid. I quickly took the photo and showed it to him as a sign of respect and I guess he was convinced but he asked me to move on and not loiter around the front.

Good thing he didn't ask and I didn't mention I'm Basque.

2. If you visit Segovia make sure to pop in here for lunch. Excellent food.
