There is NO rational when it comes to what people will do when they are drug addicts, so I am informed.
BTW I had never heard of him till this morning with the ABC News 24 giving his death star billing and spending considerable time on it, even bringing Lisa Miller in from New York to give us up to ten minutes run down of events,including saying he was found with a needle sticking in his arm.
Must be Very little happening in the world for the ABC to make this story the lead story. 
After the third time running the story in about 1 hour, I turned the TV off.

FYI He was an fantastic Oscar winning actor, who was very popular with human beings.
