So your skies are quite dark then? How far are you from Adelaide as the crow flies? A horizon glow that reaches even to 20deg up is pretty bloody good Canberra's glow from here reaches about twice that it gets a bit lower after midnight when many idiot paranoid non astronomers turn off their security?? Christmas in late January, driveway, dog kennel and backyard illuminating lights
