Attached is photo of what I did. Ordinary shade cloth attached to a set of boards screwed to the fence. It is folded in half to improve its light blocking properties. Came in 1800mm width so it is 900mm once folded.
Works well, easily reduces the light from their floodlights etc by 80 or 90%
