Have you ever fiddled with the white balance shift bracketing thingo in the menus? I did the other day and moved the little box towards the red/magenta corner and found that it improved the images heaps, not only for nebulae (takes the horrible green and blue away) but stars look good too, 47 Tuc was an awesome golden colour
