Hey Raymo,
I know what you mean, hence why I have an FCUSB control over my Skywatcher electric focuser, which makes it a doddle to get very fine focus. Even with a hand controller on the focuser when using visually, no shake happens at all when trying to focus accurately.
Well worth it.
