Talking Wildlife photography adventures

Heres some pics of a recent hike up in the Perth hills .......

Because of the heat i didnt come across many animals until i came across this old bridge with some ducks having a seista.....

Wanting to get some close up shots i carefully tried to get nearer,unfortunately one duck was acting sentry and honked with every closing step i made . At the same time two wedge tailed eagles appeared from a nearby hilltop , nearly dropping my camera with excitment i tried to get some pics but by the time i had the settings right {had troubles getting the focus right with the auto function}they had made some distance from my position, this is one pic anywhy .......

After the eagles had vanished into a other valley and seeing that the ducks didnt make any movement with two raptors in the vicinty i thought one lone human may be able to get closer......

Never mind , heres some landscape shots anywhy {the last time i was here {before Xmas} the bridge was submerged, this is a tributary to a dam that supplies the wa goldfields}
