I recently bought a set of Astrodon filters, here on IIS, and yesterday finished making a filter wheel assembly for them, so this morning I retired my old Edmund RGB filters.
As expected the new ones let more light through, due to wider pass band for each colour, but the resulting RGB image has less colour saturation. At least that is my first impression. It's probably too early to judge as the seeing was very marginal - I had to do a lot of processing to produce a passable image.
