The Baader semi-apo filter gives good colours also, but with less contrast to fight the LP.
I know the CLS makes a mess of M42. All the beautiful subtle blues, aqua and greys all turn red. Hard to have cake and eat it too...
But then it's all subjective. There's no right or wrong colour. It's just what the individual finds attractive. I think the hubble palette looks like puke a lot of the time and it's technically wrong when Ha is mapped to green lol. So just go with what you like I reckon and don't take too much notice of me.
