two cooled modified and operationally challenged 40D's
Well this is either the last mad deal of the year, or the absolute bargain of the next year?
I am selling two modified canon 40D’s. and here is the catch – is some special way they both have individual problems. One camera, my original, has a dodgy USB port, but the live view and camera actuations are OK. The other usb works but for some reason after a few shots its lock up and shows error 99. I spent a squillion getting both cameras modified by Yun with the coolers and the filter modifications.
So yes there are issues – I have openly stated this – you purchase as IS – no warranty what so ever. Note my original will still work with live view on the camera to focus
I have thought long and hard about this – who ever purchases these can send them back to Yun and get them fixed and I have placed a price on this to reflect this. I paid 2800 for the mods, and 1600 for both cameras, there is a 89 dollar case from bunnings that houses both and a few other odds and ends like a 240v power etc.
$500 for the both of them and YOU pay the postage
