Its more a factor of light pollution. Using higher then 200ISO and 10 minute exposure would come out too light. If I was shooting under a dark sky Id use ISO400. As it was Id have been better off using ISO400 and 5 min subs as the comet moved a fair bit even in 10 minutes.
