Thanks Hans,

Not good news and here is hoping he pulls through.

I watched part of the 2012 China race on Saturday evening whilst having dinner
and there was a terrific duel between he and Alonso where Michael kept
the Ferrari at bay for quite a while.

I did a double-take when I read that the accident occurred at the Meribel resort
in the French Alps as that is where four family members are at the moment and
have been the past month whilst they gained their ski instructor certifications.
They are very fast on the slopes and I am aways telling them to be careful.

Here is Michael with 307 F1 starts, seven times world champion, routinely
driven at 300km/h and has had multiple high speed crashes now fall and hit his
head on a rock skiing.

Perhaps compared to the hazard of crossing a busy road, danger can at times
be relative.

I just got an SMS back from family saying they were skiing around Merbel today
but didn't know. My guess is that like F1 drivers do, they will ignore my warning and
still go fast.
