It was great to see that after all these years, Tom Baker was still undeniably "The doctor" All those little mannerisms were still there.
I am not going to get myself tied up in knots about which incarnation did what (Time war etc) I just treated it as a stand alone. I did like the oblique references to the weeping angels in there to wind the tension up a bit even if they played no part in proceedings. I still reckon Blink is the best Dr Who episode ever made, followed by Midnight.
I actually do not mind Matt Smith as a Doctor, you can not really blame him if you reckon the part was a bit hammed up or over acted, to a large extent he can only do what the script and direction say.
