Ok bit of an update.

I went down the observatory today and had a look around. I took the motor cover off and took a look around and the coms cable was a little loose, so I pushed that up.

I did that after just trying to home the mount with the hand paddle and it behaved the same way.

One thing I noticed before opening things up was once homed it was fine. I turned off the mount and back on, turned off the computer and back on and it homed immediately. Very odd behaviour. That said for the rest of the day it performed as it should. So for now it is ok, I will report back if the fault appears again and I am going to let SB know what has transpired.
