Stefan, I experimented with a couple of ways which I had lying around in about a 15 minute time frame I had spare. My iPhone 5 to start with. It took a photo that was overexposed at the center however shows nice solar flares at the edges.
I used a digi-T on my old clunker Fuji camera. A S series 5600 I think. The iPhone took a much better pic as I may have to a) extend or reduce the eyepiece holder to gain good focus or b) get a better camera or web cam or something. HA!
My next go will be the iPhone on a bracket with decent sun protection over the scope to darken the area around the iPhone.
