Hi,

This is supposed to be a mosaic, but no matter what I tried the two images would not stitch together properly!!

There was plenty of overlap.

So I ended up blending the two images which worked quite well, not an accurate representation though.

Equipment used.
8” F/4 astrograph , baader type 3 coma corrector,. HEQ Pro 5 mount, orion mini guider.
Camera.
Unmodded Cannon 1100D.

9 x 8 minute subs x 2, ISO 800 & 1600,darks, flats and bias frames applied.
Stacked in Deep Sky Stacker .Processed in Photoshop 7.
