I'm currently running my 16 horse shoe with Mel Bartel's dos based system running on an embedded PC which runs great. Remote controlling that from inside the house is tricky but doable. Rather working on a solution to this I have been looking for a system to drive the steppers and hopefully the dome.
Presto here it is, great work with Sound Stepper, I have purchased the USB audio devices and waiting to test them on similar steppers. One thing that I would like is the ability to run two copies on the same computer or have an option to run the de-rotator as the dome control. Either would be fantastic.
Couple of months before I get a chance to install it on the scope, but I really like what I see so far, top idea.
