Bit of an update – the dehumdifyer is working a treat, but the severe extremes in weather fire/dust/torrential rain have made the need for a big cleanup. Dusting etc. I was using a BBQ cover to cover the scopes but what it seemed to do was trap the moisture under it and sweating the gear. So having left it off with the dehumidifier going we then get fires nearby, smoke and dust, then the heavy rain we have just had seem to have cemented the dust on the scope. Still need to wash down the outside

So I have sent off the G1to be repaired, really should update and install the g2?

I will be preparing the observatory for a dual system once again, but this time with solar on one side and deep sky on the other. Plan to have an ED80 with the Lunt 60 on top on one side and the 127ED and another ED80 on top with the Moravian G2 and the SBIG 2000 using a 60mm guide scope, trying to capture the best of both worlds
