For imaging not visual (probably too dim for visual)
NGC1232 is amazing
NGC1532 is quite good.
NGC2997 is fabulous
NGC1566 is a pretty spiral
NGC6744 is the queen
NGC1365 is another beauty
NGC1097 is unsual
NGC300 is our southern version of M33
NGC1316 irregular elliptcial galaxy is unusual
NGC1187 is also a good one.
We have quite a few great spiral galaxies to image in the Southern Hemisphere but unfortunately a lot of those are not as bright.
