The HST passed over Brisbane tonight so I thought I'd get a shot at it. Using a Canon EOS 600D in HD video crop mode, a 1.4x teleconverter and a 12" SkyWatcher Dobsonian, hand guided I managed to get something that at least shows some real shape. ISO 6400, 30 frames/sec, 1/3000th sec exposures

24 frames, 3x drizzled stacked in Registax. Also attached is an unsharpened stacked image which does show a cruciform shape.
