Well, along with the cloudless skies, Queensland turned on the seeing and gifted me with some nice moments of a steady atmosphere, where the solar granulation could easily be seen in scattered patches across the solar disc as I recorded a series of 3000 frame AVI’s.
The local air temperature was a cool 30 ºC compared to the somewhat more blistering 5,800 K of the Sun's surface.
This is the best of the series and shows some wonderful detail in the remarkably larger AR 1890 complex.
