I noticed the red flared stars, before I read your post and agree that it looked like coma corrector issues. That maybe my next upgrade to my setup, any advise on coma correctors.

The MPCC type 3 coma corrector is marginally better than the type 1. It fit's directly onto my canon adapter without the need for spacing.
Had a GSO coma corrector, could not get it to work with the f/4 8", no matter what spacing I tried.
