Pretty much the entire section from the Hume to the Westgate is 100kmh now, from the Hume towards Greensborough is still 80kmh. Including the frustrating little bit in the middle that they have not even started the road works on.
I guess soon we will get to have massive congestion again every day when they pull an otherwise three and four lane roadway down to one lane over a couple of kilometres for another couple of years.
Something to watch, it was always supposed to be a "Managed" roadway so sometime soon they may start varying the speed limit section by section again. Nothing like trying to avoid being booked when no two consecutive speed limit signs say the same thing, and particularly disturbing seeing them change just as they go out of view (Too late to read) knowing that the cash cams are likely to be keyed into the speed limit of the moment.
