Perhaps a front or winds were moving in. I know what you mean about bad seeing. A few times I was wondering why the CDK17 would not focus until I realised it was seeing, getting slightly better at the same focus point then worse. Not worth imaging when it gets like that.

Renato threw this idea past me at the last Astrofest and you have done what I was trying to do this week (if it wasn't for those pesky clouds). High res cores of bright deep sky objects.

Just a fun little nothing images really, so much more could be done on this...and maybe I will ...if, that is, I can be dragged away from imaging galaxies

You are right Justin and that's kinda what I did here 25 X 5sec with each filter ...the seeing was just too bad, luckily the Ha was passable or I wouldn't have split all 6 stars I don't recon.
